Vyrkos dynasty Soulblight has a great bonus to magic, but their spells are mostly (de)buffs, so no real spell bombs. Lumineth and Tzeentch, Seraphon and specifically Hallowheart from the Cities of Sigmar. Tzeentch is THE quintessential magic army, while Lumineth and Seraphon need som key units to be truly magic oriented.
Kharadron overlord: small army. chalenging rules. Daughters of Khaine: good SCB. moderate rules. lotta skin to paint. Soulblight gravelord: lots of options. moderate in everyway. for non beginner friendly armies: Cities of Sigmar: too many options its overwhelming. better as a 2nd or 3rd army.

Using the Age of sigmar app to build armies it doesn't give that option to pick one. Tried to do some detective work and look at people's armies and they never specify battle traits like they do artifacts or command traits.
